Lino Xabat stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rosendo Kemen's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. In the 20th minute, Fermin Johans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st minute, Ferreyra's Generoso Goiz seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Generoso Goiz the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Ferreyra protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Generoso Goiz had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 21 minutes into the game, one of Ferreyra:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 23 played minutes Ferreyra got a freekick which was hit by Anibal Dominix. Ferreyra's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Lino Xabat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jimeno Argina, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Alvaro Bernal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lino Xabat read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Ferreyra's zone, Rosendo Kemen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lino Xabat came out of the goal and Rosendo Kemen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Ferreyra getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Marcial Tallia hit a great ball. The Jovita fans' excitement grew in the 44th match minute when Jovita's Rosendo Kemen looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ferreyra's Lino Xabat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rosendo Kemen in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anibal Dominix was the one to do the kick off. Fermin Johans took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for 孟朗兴. Jovita's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ferreyra's Lino Xabat proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Ferreyra from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Maximino Joachim managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jovita's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximino Joachim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lino Xabat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Ferreyra's Lino Xabat got control of the ball when Rosendo Kemen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jovita's Rosendo Kemen got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 91 minutes, Marcial Tallia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ferreyra and the Jovita players grew even worse after the yellow card.
