Jacinto Fraco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alberto Bernebe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Romulo Pacho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Gaston Banegas hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Jacinto Fraco made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Gualterio Cresitobalo sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in A.A.Argentinos Juniors's zone, Alberto Bernebe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romulo Pacho came out of the goal and Alberto Bernebe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ildefonso Roldan made a kick off. 58 minutes into the match, CARP Necochea Quequen's goal looked a bit too open when Gualterio Cresitobalo came free, but Jacinto Fraco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Bernebe charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Jonas Chago came free in the 84th minute and tried to tip the ball over Romulo Pacho, but to the joy of A.A.Argentinos Juniors's supporters the ball went over. A.A.Argentinos Juniors's Romulo Pacho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save A.A.Argentinos Juniors from getting a goal against them. A hard shot 88 in the game by Alberto Bernebe from a close distance when the talented Romulo Pacho managed to make a qualified save. A.A.Argentinos Juniors's players were relieved. After 93 played minutes A.A.Argentinos Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Honorio Oton. The A.A.Argentinos Juniors supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching CARP Necochea Quequen's performance.
