Gnecco AFC's Christian Patxi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Hotz in the 38th minute of play. TALLERES DE CORDOBA's Ioan Perșa got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Beppe Mancinelli kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. With his leg Christian Patxi managed to avoid a goal in the 45thth minute, when TALLERES DE CORDOBA's Marcelo Hotz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcelo Hotz made a kick off. If Ioan Perșa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. Marcial Luix could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Justino Che made a huge save. Marcelo Hotz scored 3-0 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Christian Patxi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The TALLERES DE CORDOBA fans cheered their team off the field, for while Gnecco AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
