The audience thought a goal was coming when Guillermo Lazcano got free with Iker Casillas in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Primitivo Corderun in the 10th minute of play forced El Equipo Holandes's goalkeeper Iker Casillas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the match, El Equipo Holandes's goalkeeper Iker Casillas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guillermo Lazcano. El Equipo Holandes's Iker Casillas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaac Tancredo in the 14th minute of play. Virgilio Ado's late challenge caught a El Equipo Holandes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Virgilio Ado helped the player get up and apologised. In the 19th match minute, Caleufú was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgilio Ado to maneuver through the defense. El Equipo Holandes's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Primitivo Corderun scored to the left of an out of position Iker Casillas, making the score, 2-0. In the 32nd match minute, Caleufú was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Delfino to maneuver through the defense. Virgilio Ado got his second yellow card in the match during the 35th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Carolo Karmel did an outstanding performance 37 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 2-1 to the right of an irritated Ruperto Fanuco in the goal. After a rather tough play, El Equipo Holandes's Kristian Vibjörnsson got a free kick in the 42nd minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Guillermo Lazcano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Primitivo Corderun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caleufú's supporters rose to their feet, but Primitivo Corderun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iker Casillas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 71st minute, Leonardo Maureo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isaac Tancredo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 72nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Iker Casillas. El Equipo Holandes's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ramon Oliviero hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, El Equipo Holandes's Kristian Vibjörnsson got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 78th minute, Primitivo Corderun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 92 minutes of play, Caleufú's Samuel Delfino made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iker Casillas was left in no man's land by his defense there! There was no doubt that Caleufú were the better team. Caleufú's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
