After a rather tough play, Hualfín's Osvaldo Oxarra got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 23rd match minute, Hualfín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvaldo Oxarra to maneuver through the defense. Dimitris Salpiggidis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nemesio Salbatore came out and tried to block the shot, but Dimitris Salpiggidis slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 23rd minute. With his leg Nemesio Salbatore managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when Tosquitas's Bruno Mikolas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Bruno Mikolas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute, Bruno Mikolas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bruno Mikolas was the one to do the kick off. Nemesio Salbatore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dimitris Salpiggidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Jonathan Cordarrol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodoro Nofre in the 70th minute of play. Osvaldo Oxarra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Cordarrol having to interfere. Tosquitas's Humberto Quilino was substituted for Bruno Mikolas. After a rather tough play, Hualfín's Teodoro Nofre got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Nemesio Salbatore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dimitris Salpiggidis in the 84th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Hualfín's zone, Humberto Quilino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nemesio Salbatore came out of the goal and Humberto Quilino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nemesio Salbatore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Quilino, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. The audience was convinced that Dimitris Salpiggidis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nemesio Salbatore was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. When the referee ended the match the Tosquitas players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
