Spectators: 6638 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1638, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Evaristo Atauri made the kick off which started today's match. After having played for 6 minutes, Evaristo Atauri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. HURACAN FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Evaristo Atauri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Evaristo Atauri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 11th minute, Evaristo Atauri left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The HURACAN FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After 14 played minutes C.S. Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Virgilio Gaufred. After recieving a nice pass, HURACAN FC's Rodrigo Ourente tried to score from far away in the 14th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 21st minute, Virgilio Mederi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristobal Ubelteso was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After 26 played minutes C.S. Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Faustino Roldanillo. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind C.S. Independiente's goalkeeper Cristobal Ubelteso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Virgilio Mederi managed to get in a good position for a shot. HURACAN FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Virgilio Mederi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristobal Ubelteso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 32nd minute, Evaristo Atauri left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The HURACAN FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusebio Totakoxe in the 37th minute of play forced C.S. Independiente's goalkeeper Cristobal Ubelteso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Evaristo Atauri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the match, HURACAN FC's Virgilio Mederi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristobal Ubelteso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Virgilio Mederi succeeded in the game's 44th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-5. Cristobal Ubelteso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evaristo Atauri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sixto Checa to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, HURACAN FC's Rodrigo Ourente ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cristobal Ubelteso. Cristobal Ubelteso yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. Cristobal Ubelteso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgilio Mederi in the 57th minute of the match. When Virgilio Mederi came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the HURACAN FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Virgilio Mederi couldn't finish the play. If Evaristo Atauri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristobal Ubelteso came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by HURACAN FC's Evaristo Atauri. But to his dismay, Evaristo Atauri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Cristobal Ubelteso was out of position in the 66 minute of play, and Virgilio Mederi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Virgilio Mederi really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. Ramiro Martxel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sixto Checa in the 70th minute of play. Evaristo Atauri's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 72ndth minute, Cristobal Ubelteso skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Lisandro Bladi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind C.S. Independiente's goalkeeper Cristobal Ubelteso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When HURACAN FC's Evaristo Atauri in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.S. Independiente's goalie prevented a goal. In the 83rd minute, Eustacio Goizeder made a precise shot to the right of Ramiro Martxel. HURACAN FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-8. Cristobal Ubelteso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evaristo Atauri in the 86th minute of play. Virgilio Mederi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. HURACAN FC played a much better game than C.S. Independiente and deserved their victory. The C.S. Independiente players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
