SC Pfullendorf's Paulo Beliran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimiro Erasto in the 7th minute of play. If Feliberto Cambranes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Segundo Mergildo in the 20th minute of play forced SC Pfullendorf's goalkeeper Paulo Beliran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elvio Cebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Genaro Vellito made a huge save. Paulo Beliran came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ombú AFC's Segundo Mergildo. But to his dismay, Segundo Mergildo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 27 minutes into the game, Ombú AFC's Vladimiro Erasto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paulo Beliran made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 31st match minute, Ombú AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leandro Urki to maneuver through the defense. 33 minutes into the game, Mauro Lucila was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ombú AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Pfullendorf the free kick. A collision led to Ombú AFC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Mauro Lucila hit a great ball. Paulo Beliran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vladimiro Erasto in the 39th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Valentine in the 40th minute of play forced SC Pfullendorf's goalkeeper Paulo Beliran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute, Mauro Valentine ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paulo Beliran was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Genaro Vellito made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Elvio Cebo sent off a good shot on target. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mauro Valentine stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelino Gartzen in the 56th minute of play forced Ombú AFC's goalkeeper Genaro Vellito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the game, Vladimiro Erasto recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Paulo Beliran. Vladimiro Erasto showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. Genaro Vellito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelino Gartzen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paulo Beliran made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Mauro Valentine sent off a good shot on target. In the 66th minute, Vladimiro Erasto made a precise shot to the right of Paulo Beliran. SC Pfullendorf's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-6. When Leandro Urki fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ombú AFC's protests and gave Leandro Urki a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Ombú AFC's Leandro Urki got a free kick in the 70th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vladimiro Erasto got free with Paulo Beliran in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Paulo Beliran was a little too slow when Vladimiro Erasto got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 76th minute. The score was now 1-7. Paulo Beliran made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Segundo Mergildo sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimiro Erasto in the 84th minute of play forced SC Pfullendorf's goalkeeper Paulo Beliran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SC Pfullendorf's Paulo Beliran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimiro Erasto in the 90th minute of play. In the 92nd minute Segundo Mergildo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Beliran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ombú AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
