Spectators: 5550 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 500, VIP seats: 50) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cornelio Serafo started the match with the kick off. After 4 minutes, Isidoro Nuxila mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Morillo and the Malagueño players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 4th match minute, Morillo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidoro Nuxila to maneuver through the defense. 7 minutes into the match, Cornelio Serafo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cleto Tavio. Morillo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cornelio Serafo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 13th minute, one of Malagueño:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Malagueño. Tadeo Dominic sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Morillo's Isidoro Nuxila got his second yellow card of the match in the 18th minute. The referee ordered Isidoro Nuxila off the ground. After a rather tough play, Morillo's Isidoro Nuxila got a free kick in the 19th minute. Cleto Tavio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeo Dominic, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After 24 played minutes Morillo got a freekick which was hit by Isaac Eriz. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Cornelio Serafo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malagueño's supporters rose to their feet, but Cornelio Serafo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cleto Tavio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cleto Tavio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeo Dominic in the 26th minute of play. If Cornelio Serafo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Morillo's Cleto Tavio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeo Dominic in the 35th minute of play. If Cornelio Serafo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benigno Gelmiro struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Cleto Tavio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malagueño. The Morillo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Malagueño were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Reynaldo Servando made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Malagueño's Tadeo Dominic sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cleto Tavio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joaquin Salvino during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Morillo getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Joaquin Salvino hit a great ball. Cleto Tavio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cornelio Serafo, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Cornelio Serafo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Tadeo Dominic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reynaldo Servando recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 68th match minute, Morillo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruperto Silvanito to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Morillo defense, Cornelio Serafo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cleto Tavio. The Morillo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cleto Tavio should have stopped the shot. Isaac Eriz charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Isaac Eriz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Isaac Eriz hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. The supporters of Malagueño booed when Morillo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reynaldo Servando didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 93 minutes of play, Malagueño's Tadeo Dominic made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cleto Tavio was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match was over Malagueño could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Morillo throughout the match.
