Matancilla FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atletico Argentino the free kick. Leopoldo Conrao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Ayala, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. The Atletico Argentino fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 35 minutes into the game, Americo Gaspard was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. A collision led to Atletico Argentino getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Americo Gaspard hit a great ball. In the 37th minute Tobias Valerio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iker Eskuin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leopoldo Conrao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Ayala in the 39th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Emiliano Isaio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leopoldo Conrao was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Matancilla FC's goalkeeper Leopoldo Conrao, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 45th minute, Evelio Hartz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jonathan Ayala stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When César de Almeida fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atletico Argentino's protests and gave César de Almeida a yellow card for diving instead. In the 51st minute, César de Almeida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emiliano Isaio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Conrao having to interfere. Emiliano Isaio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonathan Ayala got free with Leopoldo Conrao in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Emiliano Isaio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Leopoldo Conrao. That made the score 0-4 in the 66 minute of play. Leopoldo Conrao stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emiliano Isaio's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Guillermo Bordat hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Matancilla FC defense, Severino Jusepe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leopoldo Conrao. The Matancilla FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leopoldo Conrao should have stopped the shot. 79 minutes into the match, Atletico Argentino's Jonathan Ayala sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leopoldo Conrao narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 80 minutes into the match, Matancilla FC's goal looked a bit too open when Americo Gaspard came free, but Leopoldo Conrao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Jonathan Ayala had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leopoldo Conrao. Matancilla FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonathan Ayala was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emiliano Isaio in the 93rd minute of play forced Matancilla FC's goalkeeper Leopoldo Conrao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Matancilla FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Isaio came free, but Leopoldo Conrao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
