An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgardo Maraman in the 11th minute of play forced Progreso F.C.'s goalkeeper Alberto Roland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Paolo Enaut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by 曾扬凌 during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 45th minute Paolo Enaut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Horado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonas Horado came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Progreso F.C.'s Paolo Enaut. But to his dismay, Paolo Enaut quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The audience was convinced that Edgardo Maraman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alberto Roland was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Alberto Roland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicanor Txatxu in the 57th minute of the match. Gaspar Eskuin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Jonas Horado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 64 minutes, Simon Cortez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chechus FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Simon Cortez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Edgardo Maraman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chechus FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgardo Maraman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alberto Roland breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Chechus FC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Guido Mancio hit a great ball. Progreso F.C.'s Anacleto Delfino got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 80th match minute, Progreso F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anacleto Delfino to maneuver through the defense. When Francisco Senen came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Progreso F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisco Senen couldn't finish the play. Zeledon Gudesteo's late challenge caught a Progreso F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zeledon Gudesteo helped the player get up and apologised. Jonas Horado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paolo Enaut in the 89th minute of play. 0-3 became the score in the 95th minute when Paolo Enaut elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The Chechus FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Progreso F.C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
