In the 10th minute of the game Desiderio Valerio made a throw-in which Nereo Rodriguez played forward. Constantino Ortle hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute, Constantino Ortle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquin Diagur in the 19th minute of play forced Uturunco's goalkeeper Epifanio Sengrat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Epifanio Sengrat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natalio Abascal, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 86th minute Natalio Abascal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanio Sengrat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Uturunco defense, Maximino Argenis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Epifanio Sengrat. The Uturunco fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Epifanio Sengrat should have stopped the shot. Uturunco's Teo Soin got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Uturunco's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
