When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Haroldo Lazcano sped through Cañada's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eustacio Karmel. Zeko FC's Gregorio Alfonso got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 31 minutes into the game, Cañada's Ermegildo Eguen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vinicio Pio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. 36 minutes into the game, Zeko FC's Niceto Monico nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Gregorio Alfonso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zeko FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gregorio Alfonso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eustacio Karmel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zeko FC's Enrique Lauren was substituted for Niceto Monico. After some careless play in the Cañada defense, Enrique Lauren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eustacio Karmel. The Cañada fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eustacio Karmel should have stopped the shot. Zeko FC made a substitution. Bruno Frans replaced Krum Dimov. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gregorio Alfonso got free with Eustacio Karmel in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 99th minute of the match Roman Fidensio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vinicio Pio skillfully saved the ball.
