Jose Baumar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 19th minute Teo Jerardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anselmo Karlo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Filomeno Veronica ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Javier Lope was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After a rather tough play, argentina's Candido Mark got a free kick in the 26th minute. After 64 minutes of play, Lavalle FC's Teo Jerardo made it 1-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anselmo Karlo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the argentina defense, Edgard Estebe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anselmo Karlo. The argentina fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anselmo Karlo should have stopped the shot. Teo Jerardo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Anselmo Karlo came out and tried to block the shot, but Teo Jerardo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-9 in the 71st minute. argentina's Anselmo Karlo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aureliano Estefan in the 75th minute of play. In the 75thth minute of the game Aureliano Estefan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but argentina's Anselmo Karlo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lavalle FC played a much better game than argentina and deserved their victory. The argentina players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
