If Anastasio Ovando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 9 minutes, Mario Oalo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Comepichi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mario Oalo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. La tormenta del Sur's Sebastian Cai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alonzo Duarte in the 10th minute of play. La tormenta del Sur's Sebastian Cai proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save La tormenta del Sur from getting a goal against them. Sebastian Cai was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mario Oalo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. 21 minutes into the game, Alonzo Duarte was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Comepichi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La tormenta del Sur the free kick. In the 22nd match minute, Comepichi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alonzo Duarte to maneuver through the defense. Comepichi's Mario Oalo got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 26 minutes into the game, Bernabe Bizi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. An unexpected shot in the 27th minute by Mario Oalo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Roman Dejo came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by La tormenta del Sur's Angel Lehen. But to his dismay, Angel Lehen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Mario Oalo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Alonzo Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Comepichi's Alonzo Duarte slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sebastian Cai. That made the score 2-1 after 42 minutes of play. Mario Oalo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A very good chance. 47 minutes into the game, one of Comepichi:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Roman Dejo had in the 49thth minute some difficulties stopping Marciano Laurgain's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind La tormenta del Sur's goalkeeper Sebastian Cai, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mario Oalo in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sebastian Cai saved La tormenta del Sur from getting behind. In the 65th minute, Aureliano Shantala hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roman Dejo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marciano Laurgain in the 66th minute. 68 minutes into the game, Alonzo Duarte cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Sebastian Cai was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Angel Lehen struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Roman Dejo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La tormenta del Sur. Angel Lehen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roman Dejo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Alonzo Duarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mario Oalo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Cai having to interfere. After 83 played minutes Comepichi got a freekick which was hit by Cipriano Fernado. With a little luck, Comepichi's Roman Dejo got control of the ball when Angel Lehen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sebastian Cai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Oalo in the 89th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Comepichi's Aureliano Shantala got a free kick in the 92nd minute. 97 minutes into the match, Comepichi's goalkeeper Roman Dejo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Angel Lehen.
