The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Pacífico Juniors's Saturnino Hunfredo got a free kick in the 10th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fidel Gasteiz in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Godofredo Selatse saved Pacífico Juniors from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Pacífico Juniors's Camilo Cuarto got a free kick in the 19th minute. When Cosme Nazario fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pacífico Juniors's protests and gave Cosme Nazario a yellow card for diving instead. In the 26th minute Fidel Gasteiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Godofredo Selatse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baltasar Botello hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Carrizalito FC's Ignacio Rosalio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Carrizalito FC from getting a goal against them. Godofredo Selatse stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hugo Blanco's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. The Pacífico Juniors players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Carrizalito FC were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elvio Sidro to strike the kick off in the second half. Hugo Blanco in the 55thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Godofredo Selatse, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Godofredo Selatse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fidel Gasteiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pacífico Juniors's Godofredo Selatse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fidel Gasteiz in the 60th minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Pacífico Juniors's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Hugo Blanco fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Fidel Gasteiz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Godofredo Selatse. That made the score 0-2 in the 64 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fidel Gasteiz in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Godofredo Selatse saved Pacífico Juniors from getting behind. 68 minutes into the match, Pacífico Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Fidel Gasteiz came free, but Godofredo Selatse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Carrizalito FC's Benedicto Loren got a free kick in the 70th minute. The supporters of Pacífico Juniors booed when Carrizalito FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fidel Gasteiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fidel Gasteiz in the 80th minute of play forced Pacífico Juniors's goalkeeper Godofredo Selatse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute Elvio Sidro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignacio Rosalio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mariano Ritchie hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Hugo Blanco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Godofredo Selatse made a huge save. When the final whistle went the supporters of Carrizalito FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Pacífico Juniors side.
