The referee showed Rafael Perez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rafael Perez hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Elias Cristofol took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Artemio Jaizki. Artemio Jaizki dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Jonathan Criston's late challenge caught a Academia F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonathan Criston helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Academia F.C booed when matu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Criston didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rafael Perez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Adolfo Primo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 24 minutes into the game, Elias Cristofol cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Artemio Jaizki was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cleto Errolan hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. 34 minutes into the match, matu's goal looked a bit too open when Stefano Witting came free, but Artemio Jaizki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute Stefano Witting shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artemio Jaizki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cleto Errolan in the 39th minute of play forced matu's goalkeeper Artemio Jaizki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute, Filomeno Elodio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonides Sabino hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Academia F.C's Elias Cristofol tried to score from far away in the 66th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Artemio Jaizki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefano Witting in the 67th minute of play. Mariano Laurgain kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Cleto Errolan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Artemio Jaizki made a huge save. Artemio Jaizki was a little too slow when Stefano Witting got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 76th minute. The score was now 0-7. A collision led to Academia F.C getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Cleto Errolan hit a great ball. In the 83rd play minute Cecilio Valentine came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Artemio Jaizki. 0-8. In the 91st minute Cleto Errolan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artemio Jaizki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Artemio Jaizki was out of position in the 92 minute of play, and Elias Cristofol capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Elias Cristofol really showed his touch with that goal: 0-9. 96 minutes into the game, Academia F.C's Stefano Witting nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Artemio Jaizki made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-10. Academia F.C played a much better game than matu and deserved their victory. The matu players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
