Segundo Ibañez ran back to his position shaking his head. 13 minutes into the match, Segundo Ibañez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ernesto Barros. Chinguillo AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Segundo Ibañez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 18th minute Emilio Fernandes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Chinguillo AFC's goalkeeper Ernesto Barros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luisito Xabel. Ernesto Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Fernandes in the 24th minute of play. A collision led to Chinguillo AFC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Benjamin Vellito hit a great ball. Club de Negros Mafiosos's Guido Lop couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 26th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Chinguillo AFC. With a little luck, Chinguillo AFC's Ernesto Barros got control of the ball when Segundo Ibañez tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emilio Fernandes in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ernesto Barros saved Chinguillo AFC from getting behind. Mauricio Abeita hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Emilio Fernandes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Segundo Ibañez got free with Ernesto Barros in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee felt a red card was in order, 41 minutes into the game, when Casimiro Calixto put in a rough tackle. After 40 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Club de Negros Mafiosos! Club de Negros Mafiosos:s Ioan Prud'Homme showed great skill when he stopped Benjamin Vellito:s penalty. In the 45th minute, Benjamin Vellito got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Club de Negros Mafiosos's Ioan Prud'Homme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Gora in the 48th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emilio Fernandes to strike the kick off in the second half.
