With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernando Polo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 7th minute, Gavino Oinaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Silvestre Blai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dionisio Vargas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Fernando Polo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Feliciano Filipo during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Dinamo de Burzaco's Feliciano Filipo got a free kick in the 25th minute. Astor Lehen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Ofelio in the 27th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Dionisio Vargas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fernando Polo was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gerardo Ofelio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Astor Lehen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gerardo Ofelio's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Igor Florin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Astor Lehen having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, one of Dinamo de Burzaco:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Dinamo de Burzaco. In the 65th minute there was a penalty for Ranquilcó FC. Horacio Abreu stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Astor Lehen. 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Gerardo Ofelio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ranquilcó FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gerardo Ofelio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Astor Lehen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Arnaldo Socorro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fernando Polo. That made the score 2-1 in the 78 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gerardo Ofelio in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. After a defensive mix-up in Dinamo de Burzaco's zone, Gerardo Ofelio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Astor Lehen came out of the goal and Gerardo Ofelio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 98th minute, Igor Florin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ranquilcó FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Dinamo de Burzaco players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ranquilcó FC.
