Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Vizcachani's Hipolito Maiorga started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Isidro Espiridion was a little too slow when Hipolito Maiorga got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 4th minute. The score was now 1-0. Leonardo Dominic sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hipolito Maiorga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Isidro Espiridion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, Balbastro's goalkeeper Isidro Espiridion had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edgardo Intxixu. After having played for 19 minutes, Albino Fortun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Balbastro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albino Fortun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 22 minutes of play, Balbastro's Albino Fortun made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eustacio Belasko was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 27 minutes, Edgardo Intxixu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vizcachani's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgardo Intxixu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hipolito Maiorga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidro Espiridion having to interfere. Eustacio Belasko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregorio Semeno in the 30th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hipolito Maiorga in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isidro Espiridion saved Balbastro from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hipolito Maiorga in the 36th minute of play forced Balbastro's goalkeeper Isidro Espiridion to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Balbastro's Isidro Espiridion proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Balbastro from getting a goal against them. When Leonardo Dominic fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vizcachani's protests and gave Leonardo Dominic a yellow card for diving instead. After 42 played minutes Vizcachani got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Dominic. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gregorio Semeno was the one to do the kick off. Eustacio Belasko didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Albino Fortun went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Edgardo Intxixu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidro Espiridion having to interfere. A collision led to Balbastro getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Constantino Umea hit a great ball. Hipolito Maiorga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75th minute Edgardo Intxixu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidro Espiridion saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgardo Intxixu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Isidro Espiridion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gregorio Semeno succeeded in the game's 82nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-3. 91 minutes into the match, Balbastro's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Belarmo came free, but Isidro Espiridion reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Apolo Sazon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hipolito Maiorga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isidro Espiridion read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. If Gregorio Semeno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Balbastro supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Balbastro would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
