With a couple of smart ball manuevers Segundo Tulio in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fermin Bizen saved Quilmes AFC from getting behind. Benito Firman kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. The audience held their breath when Geronimo Bieito in the 8th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Ulises Saturnin's left hand side. In the 9th minute of the match, David Aznar tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ulises Saturnin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Marcelino Sandalio's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 13thth minute, Ulises Saturnin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Baldomiro Kaiet kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ulises Saturnin. That made the score 1-0 in the 16 minute of play. Ulises Saturnin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcelino Sandalio in the 18th minute. After 20 minutes Metán's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Geronimo Bieito who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Quilmes AFC's corner Geronimo Bieito fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ulises Saturnin quite easily take care of the ball. Geronimo Bieito got in the 20th minute the ball and tried a long shot which scored to the left of Ulises Saturnin and thus it was 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Segundo Tulio in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fermin Bizen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eloy Emeterio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Segundo Tulio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Quilmes AFC's Fermin Bizen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Segundo Tulio in the 28th minute of play. A collision led to Quilmes AFC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Hernan Reyes hit a great ball. In the 30thth minute of the game Segundo Tulio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Quilmes AFC's Fermin Bizen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Quilmes AFC's Hernan Reyes got a free kick in the 30th minute. When Segundo Tulio came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Metán fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Segundo Tulio couldn't finish the play. In the 37th minute Segundo Tulio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fermin Bizen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fermin Bizen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Segundo Tulio in the 39th minute of play. Hernan Reyes hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Metán's Ulises Saturnin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Metán from getting a goal against them. Segundo Tulio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Segundo Tulio to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Quilmes AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hernan Reyes to maneuver through the defense. 54 minutes into the game, Hernan Reyes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Segundo Tulio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fermin Bizen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Segundo Tulio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Segundo Tulio struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Fermin Bizen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Metán. After a rather tough play, Quilmes AFC's German Lico got a free kick in the 81st minute. Metán's Benito Firman got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 84th minute of the match German Lico shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ulises Saturnin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 86 played minutes Metán got a freekick which was hit by Cláudio Diniz. In the 89th minute, Marcelino Sandalio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ulises Saturnin was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Quilmes AFC's Fermin Bizen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Quilmes AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 93rd match minute, Quilmes AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julio Pelagius to maneuver through the defense. Fermin Bizen didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 96th minute, which inside left pole to 3-2.
