In the 4th minute Anastasio Olo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xian Castañera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 6th play minutes Astor Jerrold shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Xian Castañera and just under the crossbar into goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Astor Jerrold in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Xian Castañera saved PARQUE DEL CENTENARIO from getting behind. 12 minutes into the game, Leonides Erdiano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PARQUE DEL CENTENARIO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Necochea AFC the free kick. Leonides Erdiano hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Astor Jerrold in the 13thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Xian Castañera, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Astor Jerrold might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Xian Castañera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Astor Jerrold ran back to his position shaking his head. Astor Jerrold's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Xian Castañera skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Julio Cheche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Vladimiro Berbiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, PARQUE DEL CENTENARIO's Desiderio Kiliz got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 24th minute, one of PARQUE DEL CENTENARIO:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for PARQUE DEL CENTENARIO. The referee gave Necochea AFC a penalty, 26 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Reine Larsson, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of PARQUE DEL CENTENARIO's Xian Castañera. 2-0. Astor Jerrolds short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Xian Castañera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Dionisio Santo hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Xian Castañera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Astor Jerrold in the 35th minute. In the 37th minute of the match Necochea AFC got a corner. PARQUE DEL CENTENARIO's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Reine Larsson ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 39 minutes PARQUE DEL CENTENARIO's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Reine Larsson who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Reine Larsson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but PARQUE DEL CENTENARIO's Xian Castañera did a great save. A hard shot 40 in the game by Astor Jerrold from a close distance when the talented Xian Castañera managed to make a qualified save. PARQUE DEL CENTENARIO's players were relieved. In the 47th minute Julio Cheche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimiro Berbiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Astor Jerrold sped through PARQUE DEL CENTENARIO's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Xian Castañera. 60 minutes into the game, Arnaldo Omero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. When Gogo Norino fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PARQUE DEL CENTENARIO's protests and gave Gogo Norino a yellow card for diving instead. Gogo Norino hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 71st match minute, Necochea AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnaldo Omero to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of PARQUE DEL CENTENARIO booed when Necochea AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnaldo Omero didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th match minute, Necochea AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reine Larsson to maneuver through the defense. Marcial Osoro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vladimiro Berbiz. Necochea AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Astor Jerrold fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xian Castañera having to interfere. Vladimiro Berbiz was a little too slow when Julio Cheche got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 84th minute. The score was now 4-2. Astor Jerrold sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Necochea AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
