Narciso Blasco was left in no man's land by his defense there! 16 minutes into the match, SAFFO F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Rene Gamus came free, but Narciso Blasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th match minute, Lavalia Universidad Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ezequiel Bernat to maneuver through the defense. Narciso Blasco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edelmiro Montae's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Ximun Velazquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fermin Gentza in the 26th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Lavalia Universidad Club's Rene Gamus dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. SAFFO F.C.'s Haroldo Marquez got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of SAFFO F.C. booed when Lavalia Universidad Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edelmiro Montae didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the SAFFO F.C. defense, Ronaldinho Porto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Narciso Blasco. The SAFFO F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Narciso Blasco should have stopped the shot. Reynaldo Silban's late challenge caught a Lavalia Universidad Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reynaldo Silban helped the player get up and apologised. Narciso Blasco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rene Gamus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fermin Gentza to strike the kick off in the second half. Haroldo Marquez hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Lavalia Universidad Club's Rene Gamus managed to work through SAFFO F.C.'s defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Rene Gamus dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. If Berke Nurbaki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rene Gamus in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Narciso Blasco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ezequiel Bernat kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Hector Jakes managed to get in a good position for a shot. SAFFO F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Hector Jakes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ximun Velazquez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the SAFFO F.C. defense, Berke Nurbaki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Narciso Blasco. The SAFFO F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Narciso Blasco should have stopped the shot. Berke Nurbaki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rene Gamus in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Narciso Blasco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. There was no doubt that Lavalia Universidad Club were the better team. Lavalia Universidad Club's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
