An unexpectedly hard shot by Godfredo Rojelio in the 3rd minute of play forced Colosal's goalkeeper Adan Quintan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 5 played minutes Atenea FC got a freekick which was hit by Godfredo Rojelio. Damian Rocio hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute of the match Camilo Casomiro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adan Quintan skillfully saved the ball. When Arsenio Socorro came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Colosal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arsenio Socorro couldn't finish the play. Alberto Olando's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Nicasio Diagur firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Godfredo Rojelio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anselmo Blasco kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Adan Quintan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arturo Florinio in the 42nd minute of the match. A collision led to Atenea FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Florencio Veremundo hit a great ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arsenio Socorro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Atenea FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arsenio Socorro came free, but Nicasio Diagur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arsenio Socorro scored 1-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nicasio Diagur, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 63rd minute Arsenio Socorro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicasio Diagur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicasio Diagur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto Gonzales in the 65th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Arturo Florinio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Adan Quintan. That made the score 1-1 in the 66 minute of play. A collision led to Atenea FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Godfredo Rojelio hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute, Atenea FC's Florencio Veremundo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Florencio Veremundo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Atenea FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Florencio Veremundo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Florencio Veremundo kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 76th minute Arsenio Socorro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicasio Diagur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Atenea FC's Arturo Florinio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Adan Quintan. That made the score 1-2 after 85 minutes of play. 92 minutes into the match, Colosal's goal looked a bit too open when Nestor Estavan came free, but Adan Quintan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle went the supporters of Atenea FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Colosal side.
