Matias Domingues was a little too slow when Godfredo Rojelio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 13th minute. The score was now 1-1. Godfredo Rojelio in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Matias Domingues, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Matias Domingues was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Arturo Florinio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 30 minute of play. Nelsond FC's Matias Domingues proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Nelsond FC from getting a goal against them. After 35 minutes Nelsond FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Camilo Casomiro who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Camilo Casomiro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Matias Domingues quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Arturo Florinio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Matias Domingues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The wind increased when Maximiliano Martxot made the kick off in the second half. If Arturo Florinio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 59 played minutes, Atenea FC's Florencio Veremundo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Matias Domingues came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Atenea FC reached it. After having played for 60 minutes, Anselmo Blasco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atenea FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anselmo Blasco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arturo Florinio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 74 minutes into the match, Nelsond FC's goal looked a bit too open when Godfredo Rojelio came free, but Matias Domingues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Nelsond FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Dionisio Chan hit a great ball. Camilo Casomiro struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Matias Domingues didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atenea FC. Anselmo Blasco hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Jacobo Nardo kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Atenea FC were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after Nelsond FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Camilo Casomiro took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Nelsond FC's goalie and right to Nestor Estavan. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Nelsond FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godfredo Rojelio in the 86th minute of play forced Nelsond FC's goalkeeper Matias Domingues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
