Cafe Del Mar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Evaristo Peio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Lino Fix scored 1-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abe Bynum, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ruperto Silvino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abe Bynum having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Riachuelo's goal looked a bit too open when Lino Fix came free, but Abe Bynum reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Juan Bartolome in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ignacio Rami prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Juan Bartolomes short, quick shot in the 40thth minute got Ignacio Rami to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juan Bartolome got free with Ignacio Rami in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 43rd minute, Juan Bartolome reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ignacio Rami. The goal made the score 3-1.
