Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Velloso AFC's Ovidio Enekoitz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Saturnino Pacho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Juan Bartolome's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. After 9th play minutes Juan Bartolome shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Saturnino Pacho and just under the crossbar into goal. After a rather tough play, Velloso AFC's Guido Salvatore got a free kick in the 15th minute. After some careless play in the Velloso AFC defense, Evaristo Peio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Saturnino Pacho. The Velloso AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Saturnino Pacho should have stopped the shot. Abe Bynum took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ovidio Enekoitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26thth minute of the game Juan Bartolome who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Velloso AFC's Saturnino Pacho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Velloso AFC booed when Riachuelo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Candido Vito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juan Bartolome took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Saturnino Pacho. Saturnino Pacho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. With his leg Abe Bynum managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when Velloso AFC's Ovidio Enekoitz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 42 minutes into the game, Guido Salvatore was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Velloso AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Riachuelo the free kick. In the 42nd match minute, Velloso AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guido Salvatore to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Juan Bartolome was the one to do the kick off. Juan Bartolome could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Saturnino Pacho made a huge save. Eduardo Solustiano kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Pablo Enmanuel shot from long distance in the 55th minute, but Saturnino Pacho was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Saturnino Pacho was out of position in the 63 minute of play, and Juan Bartolome capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Juan Bartolome really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. After a rather tough play, Velloso AFC's Desiderio Peli got a free kick in the 69th minute. Nunez Crispo kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Dalmacio Rosario left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Velloso AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. 90 minutes into the game, Velloso AFC's Guido Salvatore nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Abe Bynum made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. The Riachuelo players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
