Spectators: 6632 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1632, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ernesto Michael started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Tocol FC's Aurelio Francis got a free kick in the 4th minute. Manuel Dorio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Armando Velasco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 9 minutes into the match, Tocol FC's goal looked a bit too open when Higinio Sein came free, but Armando Velasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Albano Bikendi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Hossana FC's Iker Satordi in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tocol FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 18th minute of the match, Albano Bikendi got a very nice opportunity to score, but Higinio Jaunzuria was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 22 minutes into the match, Hossana FC's goalkeeper Higinio Jaunzuria had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Albano Bikendi. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Manuel Dorio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hossana FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Manuel Dorio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armando Velasco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tocol FC's Armando Velasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iker Satordi in the 28th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Aurelio Francis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Iker Satordi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 44 played minutes Tocol FC got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Michael. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Iker Satordi to make the kick off. Lázaro Clis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Armando Velasco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Higinio Jaunzuria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernesto Michael, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Armando Velasco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manuel Dorio in the 68th minute. If Iker Satordi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Albano Bikendi came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Tocol FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albano Bikendi couldn't finish the play. In the 74th minute, Ernesto Michael left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tocol FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. If Ernesto Michael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hossana FC's goalkeeper Higinio Jaunzuria, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Higinio Sein's late challenge caught a Tocol FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Higinio Sein helped the player get up and apologised. Higinio Sein kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Ernesto Michael fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Higinio Jaunzuria having to interfere. Armando Velasco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iker Satordi in the 92nd minute. Tocol FC's Armando Velasco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Tocol FC from getting a goal against them. Hossana FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Tocol FC had won, even though Hossana FC had held more of the ball.
