In the 17th minute, Ernesto Michael hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Academia Villeguense fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when Academia Villeguense's Victor Olentzaro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 22nd minute, Nicasio Mikelats made a precise shot to the right of Armando Velasco. Tocol FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. The audience was convinced that Eustacio Jokin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Armando Velasco was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. In the 35th minute, Victor Olentzaro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Armando Velasco was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. In the 39th minute Nicasio Mikelats shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Velasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Tocol FC's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Olentzaro came free, but Armando Velasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Armando Velasco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victor Olentzaro's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Victor Olentzaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bruno Fidensio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Armando Velasco made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Tocol FC's Ernesto Michael got a free kick in the 92nd minute.
