Angel Correa struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Armando Velasco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aston Villa F.C. Igor Teyo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 13 minutes into the game, Aston Villa F.C's Tobias Dalmai nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Armando Velasco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 16 minutes into the match, Tocol FC's goal looked a bit too open when Angel Correa came free, but Armando Velasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tobias Dalmai took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Armando Velasco. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Bianco Alonzi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aston Villa F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Bianco Alonzi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armando Velasco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tobias Dalmai's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Armando Velasco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Tocol FC's Armando Velasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobias Dalmai in the 26th minute of play. Aurelio Francis hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobias Dalmai in the 38th minute of play forced Tocol FC's goalkeeper Armando Velasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tobias Dalmai in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armando Velasco prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tobias Dalmai to strike the kick off in the second half. Tobias Dalmais short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Armando Velasco to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Armando Velasco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tobias Dalmai went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. If Tobias Dalmai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Moises Flor fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tocol FC's protests and gave Moises Flor a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Aston Villa F.C booed when Tocol FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moises Flor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aurelio Francis got his second yellow card in the match during the 64th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Aurelio Francis kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Armando Velasco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tobias Dalmai in the 66th minute. When the final whistle sounded Aston Villa F.C left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Tocol FC.
