Apolo Chan started the match with the kick off. Dionisio Pueblo took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gonzalo Gregory. Gonzalo Gregory dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 10 minutes into the match, Dionisio Pueblo notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Phoenix F.C's Gonzalo Gregory. Gonzalo Gregory was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gonzalo Gregory showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Apolo Chan in the 17th minute of the match. Phoenix F.C's Gonzalo Gregory played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Apolo Chan in the 19th minute of play. Dionisio Pueblo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eliseo Astigars short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Florian Cerro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gonzalo Gregory took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dionisio Pueblo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Dionisio Pueblo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Phoenix F.C's Eriberto Isias got a free kick in the 39th minute. Phoenix F.C's Gonzalo Gregory played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dionisio Pueblo in the 43rd minute of play. Eriberto Isias kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eliseo Astigar was the one to do the kick off. Paulo Tino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Florian Cerro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gonzalo Gregory made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Dionisio Pueblo sent off a good shot on target. 55 minutes into the match, Phoenix F.C's goalkeeper Gonzalo Gregory had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Apolo Chan. In the 59th minute, Erubiel Tulio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Danilo Belarmo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Gonzalo Gregory tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filiberto Lizbeth during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gutemberg's Florian Cerro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Astigar in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute, Emiliano Ospin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th match minute, Gutemberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Apolo Chan to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Phoenix F.C's Gonzalo Gregory got control of the ball when Apolo Chan tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 75th minute, Dionisio Pueblo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gonzalo Gregory. The goal made the score 0-3. 80 minutes into the match, Phoenix F.C's Adrian Medero broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Gonzalo Gregory took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dionisio Pueblo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Gutemberg booed when Phoenix F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eriberto Isias didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th minute, Braulio Bizi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gonzalo Gregory was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Adrian Medero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Florian Cerro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Phoenix F.C's Eliseo Astigar in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gutemberg's goalie prevented a goal. Gutemberg's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
