An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolando Tabby in the 15th minute of play forced Svalbard's goalkeeper Luisito Quico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Angelino Chuan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mariano Lonzo. Talita's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Angelino Chuan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Celso Quiroga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Lonzo having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Gaudencio Ponc had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mariano Lonzo. Mariano Lonzo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaudencio Ponc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mariano Lonzo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gaudencio Ponc went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gaudencio Ponc made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Simon Haitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mariano Lonzo came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Svalbard's Gaudencio Ponc. But to his dismay, Gaudencio Ponc quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. 57 minutes into the match, Talita's goalkeeper Mariano Lonzo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabio Atauri. Talita's Mariano Lonzo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Talita from getting a goal against them. In the 64th minute, Fabio Atauri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 66 minutes into the match, Talita's goal looked a bit too open when Celso Quiroga came free, but Mariano Lonzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Svalbard's Celso Quiroga got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 70 minutes, Gaudencio Ponc managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Svalbard's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaudencio Ponc was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gaudencio Ponc scored 0-6 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mariano Lonzo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In a very dangerous position, a player in Talita fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 79th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 82 minutes, Svalbard's Fabio Atauri got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Mariano Lonzo. Angelino Chuan hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Fabio Atauri's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Mariano Lonzo firmly grabbed it by the left post.
