Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Fernando Ubarna made the kick off and thus started the match. Romeo Olo hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Fernando Ubarna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Romeo Olo put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Emanuel Ostadar. Alvaro Cordarrel charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alvaro Cordarrel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 18 played minutes Chapu got a freekick which was hit by Alvaro Cordarrel. If Alonzo Nataniel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romeo Olo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 34 minutes, Simon Rey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marelona F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Simon Rey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Chapu's goalkeeper Marcial Rik had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alonzo Nataniel. A collision led to Chapu getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Alvaro Cordarrel hit a great ball. In the 40th minute Romeo Olo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Ostadar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Marelona F.C.'s zone, Hermengildo Neto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Ostadar came out of the goal and Hermengildo Neto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 46 played minutes Chapu got a freekick which was hit by Alvaro Cordarrel. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hermengildo Neto made a kick off. Marcial Rik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alonzo Nataniel in the 51st minute of play. Chapu's Hermengildo Neto got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Prospero Ferdinand kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Luciano Eleazar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rogelio Cesario's late challenge caught a Chapu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rogelio Cesario helped the player get up and apologised. In the 56th match minute, Marelona F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogelio Cesario to maneuver through the defense. Hermengildo Neto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Emanuel Ostadar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luciano Eleazar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Emanuel Ostadar came out and tried to block the shot, but Luciano Eleazar slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 59th minute. After some careless play in the Marelona F.C. defense, Benito Camerino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emanuel Ostadar. The Marelona F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emanuel Ostadar should have stopped the shot. If Luciano Eleazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emanuel Ostadar was a little too slow when Hermengildo Neto got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 0-4. Pastor Iraido hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Marelona F.C.'s zone, Hermengildo Neto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Ostadar came out of the goal and Hermengildo Neto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benito Camerino in the 86th minute of play forced Marelona F.C.'s goalkeeper Emanuel Ostadar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Marelona F.C. getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Rogelio Cesario hit a great ball. If Benito Camerino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 95th match minute, Marelona F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Ubarna to maneuver through the defense. Chapu's Hermengildo Neto got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Chapu played a much better game than Marelona F.C. and deserved their victory. The Marelona F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
