Iron Maiden's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonathan Theodore was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfonso Ixidor in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnulfo Frasco saved Ranchos AFC from getting behind. 58 minutes into the match, Ranchos AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Ixidor came free, but Arnulfo Frasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ranchos AFC's Isaias Ramond got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 71st match minute, Ranchos AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Tajo to maneuver through the defense.
