Paolo Manilan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Batea FC's Clodoveo Lohitzun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Batea FC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Dr. Tangalanga booed when Batea FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saul Marcones didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aquiles Distiratsu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Clodoveo Lohitzun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Mihăiţă Țâpu's late challenge caught a Dr. Tangalanga's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mihăiţă Țâpu helped the player get up and apologised. Mihăiţă Țâpu kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. When Luis Katia came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Dr. Tangalanga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Katia couldn't finish the play. Aquiles Distiratsu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Clodoveo Lohitzun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Batea FC's Serafin Vermudo in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dr. Tangalanga's goalie prevented a goal.

After a rather tough play, Batea FC's Javier Primo got a free kick in the 58th minute. When Luis Katia came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Dr. Tangalanga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Katia couldn't finish the play. Dr. Tangalanga were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Batea FC to leave the ground with a draw.
