An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciro Quintana in the 9th minute of play forced C. A. Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Barry Lammers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. C. A. Boca Juniors's Barry Lammers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Diaz in the 12th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Severino Pueblo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marcelito Barovero. That made the score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. In the 17th minute Severino Pueblo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelito Barovero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardino Curcio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SOFLOV's Paulo Diaz managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Elvio Argenis in the 21 minute of the game. C. A. Boca Juniors's Barry Lammers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciro Quintana in the 22nd minute of play. After 26 played minutes C. A. Boca Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Ciriaco Iruinea. 31 minutes into the match, SOFLOV's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Pueblo came free, but Marcelito Barovero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ciro Quintana in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Barry Lammers saved C. A. Boca Juniors from getting behind. 35 minutes into the game, Elvio Argenis threw the ball into play from the sideline. SOFLOV's Bernardino Curcio quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Barry Lammers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardino Curcio in the 36th minute of the match. The supporters of SOFLOV booed when C. A. Boca Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elvio Argenis didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ciro Quintana to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Ciro Quintana took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Barry Lammers to make any attempt to save it. 59 minutes in the game, Ciro Quintana fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Barry Lammers having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Luis Tome hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Barry Lammers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dario Maxin in the 63rd minute. SOFLOV's Ignazio Esoin suffered a sore thigh after 63 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Ciriaco Iruinea fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C. A. Boca Juniors's protests and gave Ciriaco Iruinea a yellow card for diving instead. 66 minutes into the match, SOFLOV's Ciro Quintana sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Barry Lammers narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Barry Lammers didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paulo Diaz went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Lucian Codrea charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucian Codrea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Barry Lammers made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Ladislav Fejt's late challenge caught a C. A. Boca Juniors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ladislav Fejt helped the player get up and apologised. In the 85th minute, Ciro Quintana reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Barry Lammers. The goal made the score 1-4. SOFLOV's Ciro Quintana got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. SOFLOV's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
