Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Angel Gutxi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Seth Maier, 2-3. Mecoyita's Vicente Izotz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmar Arixo in the 43rd minute of play. In the 44th match minute, Mecoyita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fausto Neto to maneuver through the defense. Mecoyita's Fausto Neto got his second yellow card of the match in the 47th minute. The referee ordered Fausto Neto off the ground. A collision led to Mecoyita getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Fausto Neto hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Angel Gutxi to make the kick off. When the match was over Kiaxi FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Mecoyita throughout the match.
