Ildefonso Osoitz hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Raimundo Balasi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uriel Juvenal, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Mario Mosen had great luck who in the 5thth minute grab hold of the ball when Freddy Vidal from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Mario Mosen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edelmiro Enaut, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edelmiro Enaut sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 18th minute, Edelmiro Enaut hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 25 minutes, Pascual Ongile mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dominguito AFC and the Mailín FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pascual Ongile kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Freddy Vidal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mario Mosen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Dominguito AFC's Edelmiro Enaut ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mario Mosen. Mario Mosen yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 37th minute, Dominguito AFC's Silverio Jon seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Silverio Jon the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Dominguito AFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Silverio Jon had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Aquilino Asier placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Narciso Urtzi made a kick off. Dominguito AFC's Silvio Mantzio got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mario Mosen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freddy Vidal in the 55th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the game, Wilfredo Arnau was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mailín FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dominguito AFC the free kick. After 59 played minutes Mailín FC got a freekick which was hit by Wilfredo Arnau. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cesar Pudes during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Mailín FC's Cesar Pudes got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 66th minute Freddy Vidal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Mosen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mario Mosen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Freddy Vidal's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Freddy Vidal struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Mario Mosen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dominguito AFC. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Freddy Vidal in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mario Mosen saved Mailín FC from getting behind. Pascual Ongile sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute, Arnaldo Maurino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 80 minutes into the match, Dominguito AFC's Freddy Vidal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mario Mosen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 86th minute, Freddy Vidal made a precise shot to the right of Mario Mosen. Mailín FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Arnaldo Maurino's late challenge caught a Dominguito AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnaldo Maurino helped the player get up and apologised. After 92 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Mailín FC! Mario Mosen went to the wrong direction when Fermin Llorenc was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Dominguito AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
