Apolo Jerrald received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Sergio Birila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, A.C Vikingo's goal looked a bit too open when Gogo Onofre came free, but Sergio Birila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Apolo Jerrald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 24th minute Apolo Jerrald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Birila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Godofredo Rufo could shoot a difficult shot in the 27th minute, which Freddy Ferrer however easily saved by the left post. If Julio Karmel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hermengildo Oroitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Sergio Birila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 44 played minutes Cerrillos got a freekick which was hit by Victor Paredes. 45 minutes into the match, Cerrillos's goalkeeper Freddy Ferrer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Godofredo Rufo. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Apolo Jerrald made a kick off. When Julio Karmel came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Cerrillos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julio Karmel couldn't finish the play. Amador Perpinya tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Sergio Birila. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-1 in the 54th minute. The supporters of A.C Vikingo booed when Cerrillos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Paredes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cerrillos's Freddy Ferrer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godofredo Rufo in the 59th minute of play. A collision led to A.C Vikingo getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Carlos Leobardo hit a great ball. Apolo Jerrald received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sergio Birila came out and tried to block the shot, but Apolo Jerrald slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 64th minute. Victor Paredes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergio Birila having to interfere. If Apolo Jerrald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Leobardo's late challenge caught a Cerrillos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Leobardo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Cerrillos booed when A.C Vikingo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Leobardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Apolo Jerrald recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cerrillos's Apolo Jerrald got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg Sergio Birila managed to avoid a goal in the 95thth minute, when Cerrillos's Apolo Jerrald fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 96 minutes in the game, Dionisio Miro fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Sergio Birila having to interfere. Cerrillos's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
