The supporters of Cerrillos booed when La Guardia Imperial was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roman Erauso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Apolo Jerrald struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Gervasio Eudoxio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cerrillos. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apolo Jerrald in the 30th minute of play forced La Guardia Imperial's goalkeeper Gervasio Eudoxio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Gogo Onofre came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Cerrillos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gogo Onofre couldn't finish the play. In the 36th minute, Apolo Jerrald made a precise shot to the right of Gervasio Eudoxio. La Guardia Imperial's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. When Cerrillos's Apolo Jerrald in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Apolo Jerrald made a kick off. After a rather tough play, La Guardia Imperial's Emilio Abeijon got a free kick in the 51st minute. Cerrillos's Freddy Ferrer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Roberto Arantes in the 55th minute of play. Apolo Jerrald recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fidel Ellande's late challenge caught a Cerrillos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fidel Ellande helped the player get up and apologised. In the 70th match minute, La Guardia Imperial was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fidel Ellande to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, La Guardia Imperial's Gervasio Eudoxio got control of the ball when Apolo Jerrald tried to sneak it across the goal line. Freddy Ferrer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Roberto Arantes, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Cerrillos's Freddy Ferrer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Dantel in the 79th minute of play. Apolo Jerrald came free with the goalkeeper in the 81st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gervasio Eudoxio could save by the left post. 88 minutes into the game, Gogo Onofre was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cerrillos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Guardia Imperial the free kick. In the 88th minute, Gogo Onofre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cerrillos's Freddy Ferrer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Roberto Arantes in the 91st minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Cerrillos walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
