After 3 minutes, Siro Pello mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Defensores de Ñuls and the Barjas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 3rd minute, Siro Pello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 5th match minute, Defensores de Ñuls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Genaro Regis to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by João da Silva in the 8th minute of play forced Defensores de Ñuls's goalkeeper Ovidio Burni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Denis Guillelmus was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 10 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute, one of Defensores de Ñuls:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Defensores de Ñuls. Zeledon Cibran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvarez Balanta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th match minute, Barjas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uriel Che to maneuver through the defense. Zeledon Cibran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mihnea Murgu in the 19th minute of the match. If Florentino Matthew had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 25th minute, Mihnea Murgu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. David Maathai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidio Burni having to interfere. Fernando Havier struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Ovidio Burni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barjas FC.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mihnea Murgu made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Mihnea Murgu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Defensores de Ñuls's supporters rose to their feet, but Mihnea Murgu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zeledon Cibran breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when João da Silva got free with Ovidio Burni in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Celso Nafarroa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Defensores de Ñuls's Ovidio Burni proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Defensores de Ñuls from getting a goal against them. After 71 minutes, Florentino Matthew mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Defensores de Ñuls and the Barjas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 71st minute, Florentino Matthew hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd minute, David Maathai fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ovidio Burni, passed just outside the right post. Ovidio Burni made an important save on a dangerous shot by Celso Nafarroa in the 91st minute. João da Silva was extremely unlucky when he, in the 93rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Barjas FC played a much better game than Defensores de Ñuls and deserved their victory. The Defensores de Ñuls players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
