Mátyás György made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 36 minutes into the game, Bertram Svenningsen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Mátyás György was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. FC Bogucice's Mátyás György played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chris Nygaard in the 40th minute of play. Erling Håland hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Denmark. Cristiano Ferreira's late challenge caught a Denmark's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristiano Ferreira helped the player get up and apologised. After a defensive mix-up in FC Bogucice's zone, Bertram Svenningsen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mátyás György came out of the goal and Bertram Svenningsen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chris Nygaard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 70thth minute of the game Chris Nygaard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Bogucice's Mátyás György was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, FC Bogucice's Boleslaw Gierasik got a free kick in the 73rd minute. FC Bogucice's Mátyás György played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chris Nygaard in the 76th minute of play. Napoleon Kicia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Keld Paulsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Chris Nygaard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mátyás György was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Cristiano Ferreira was shown his second yellow card after 88 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A sloppy throw-in by Erling Håland in the 97th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Denmark's Lars Steen. When the final whistle sounded Denmark left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Bogucice.
