Maximino Paz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Alfonso Frederik made a huge save. Bosteros's Carlos Salvator got his second yellow card of the match in the 25th minute. The referee ordered Carlos Salvator off the ground. Maximino Paz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonso Frederik having to interfere. Benjamin Naldo scored 0-1 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Braulio Moise, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Bosteros's zone, Maximino Paz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfonso Frederik came out of the goal and Maximino Paz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Maximino Paz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vino y Faso's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximino Paz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfonso Frederik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 42 minutes into the game, one of Bosteros:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Bosteros's Alfonso Frederik proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Bosteros from getting a goal against them. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benjamin Naldo to make the kick off. 56 minutes into the game, Vino y Faso's Julio-César Scudieri nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alfonso Frederik made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. The supporters of Bosteros booed when Vino y Faso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haroldo Acuña didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maximino Paz might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alfonso Frederik. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maximino Paz ran back to his position shaking his head. When Julio-César Scudieri came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Vino y Faso fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julio-César Scudieri couldn't finish the play. Julio-César Scudieri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonso Frederik having to interfere. If Maximino Paz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maximino Paz struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Alfonso Frederik didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vino y Faso. Julio-César Scudieri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonso Frederik having to interfere. If Maximino Paz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Vino y Faso players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
