The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hermengildo Oriche showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 32nd minute Venancio Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucio Domingues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulino Pepillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Venancio Santos to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Uriel Jakobe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lucio Domingues stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Venancio Santos's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. In the 55th play minute Rodolfo Johans came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Hermengildo Oriche. 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Dario Natanael managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lineage II's supporters rose to their feet, but Dario Natanael was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hermengildo Oriche breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hermengildo Oriche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulino Pepillo in the 61st minute of the match. After 65th play minutes Paulino Pepillo shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Hermengildo Oriche and just under the crossbar into goal. Lucio Domingues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvio Pagomari, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 82 minutes of play, Chañaritas's Venancio Santos made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lucio Domingues was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulino Pepillo in the 90th minute of play forced Chañaritas's goalkeeper Hermengildo Oriche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94thth minute of the game Paulino Pepillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chañaritas's Hermengildo Oriche was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Chañaritas lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
