The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Cisco Mora sped through Escobar AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dario Senio. After a rather tough play, Escobar AFC's Artemio Lorencio got a free kick in the 9th minute. The supporters of Coghlan Club booed when Escobar AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrei Prodan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angelo Mattin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dario Senio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Flavio Manex hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Dario Senio came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Coghlan Club's Victor Fix. But to his dismay, Victor Fix quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 19th minute, Artemio Lorencio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dario Senio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cisco Mora, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Martin Timo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dario Senio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Fix in the 24th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Martin Timo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dario Senio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 32nd minute, Cisco Mora left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Coghlan Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Victor Fix struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Dario Senio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coghlan Club. Cisco Mora scored 0-5 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dario Senio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bruno Derwin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artemio Lorencio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Escobar AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Coghlan Club were winning 0-5.

Cisco Mora recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Coghlan Club's Cisco Mora in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Escobar AFC's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Escobar AFC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Abel Frasquito hit a great ball. Dario Senio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Timo, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victor Fix got free with Dario Senio in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 95 minutes into the match, Coghlan Club's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Truylos came free, but Bruno Derwin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Coghlan Club left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Escobar AFC.
