In the 15th minute, Florentino Idacio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th match minute, Asoc. Dep. Unión Saltense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Higinio Pirmin to maneuver through the defense. Mauricio Lonzo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Baltasar Gora. Asoc. Dep. Unión Saltense's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Facundo FC's zone, Alberto Salomone stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivan Silvino came out of the goal and Alberto Salomone tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Genaro Pueblo in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ivan Silvino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 29th minute, Honorato Rodas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Prudencio Edorta charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Prudencio Edorta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Asoc. Dep. Unión Saltense booed when Facundo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prudencio Edorta didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute Honorato Rodas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Silvino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Salomone in the 45th minute of play forced Facundo FC's goalkeeper Ivan Silvino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Sendoa in the 51st minute of play forced Asoc. Dep. Unión Saltense's goalkeeper Baltasar Gora to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Sendoa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Genaro Pueblo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ivan Silvino was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. 64 minutes into the match, Facundo FC's goalkeeper Ivan Silvino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Honorato Rodas. Ivan Silvino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alberto Salomone went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Honorato Rodas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Ivan Silvino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Florentino Idacio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ivan Silvino having to make a save. After having played for 82 minutes, Genaro Pueblo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Asoc. Dep. Unión Saltense's supporters crossed their fingers, but Genaro Pueblo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Asoc. Dep. Unión Saltense's Genaro Pueblo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ivan Silvino. That made the score 3-2 after 85 minutes of play. Honorato Rodas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ivan Silvino came out and tried to block the shot, but Honorato Rodas slotted it home off the left post making it 3-3 in the 89th minute. If Genaro Pueblo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Alberto Salomone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Honorato Rodas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Ivan Silvino made a huge save.
