Damian Onbera scored 0-2 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maximino Ubarna, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Maximino Ubarna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Lesardo in the 17th minute of play. Damian Onbera blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Maximino Ubarna having to make a save. Maximino Ubarna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Lesardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 27thth minute of the game Igor Lesardo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but santos f.c's Maximino Ubarna was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half Hernandarias FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Damian Onbera made a kick off. The supporters of Hernandarias FC booed when santos f.c was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Locaio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maximino Ubarna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Onbera in the 52nd minute of play. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Hernandarias FC's goalkeeper Gaston Tiso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 84 minutes, Epifanio Flores mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the santos f.c and the Hernandarias FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to santos f.c getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Epifanio Flores hit a great ball. Marcelo Leobardo kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Igor Lesardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Maximino Ubarna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th match minute, santos f.c was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Lertxun to maneuver through the defense. santos f.c's Maximino Ubarna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Onbera in the 93rd minute of play. Hernandarias FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
