Spectators: 6665 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1645, VIP seats: 20) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ljubo Bonačić started the match with the kick off. Maximino Ubarna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Ostots, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Domingos Balasi managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when santos f.c's Ljubo Bonačić fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 15th play minute Ljubo Bonačić came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Domingos Balasi. 1-0. In the 21st minute, Nicolas Ostots got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 25th match minute, hincas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ildefonso Iratze to maneuver through the defense. Nicolas Ostots received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Maximino Ubarna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind santos f.c's goalkeeper Maximino Ubarna, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in santos f.c's zone, Nicolas Ostots stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximino Ubarna came out of the goal and Nicolas Ostots tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 38th minute, Nicolas Ostots got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 40 minutes, Oscar Baumer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. hincas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oscar Baumer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 45 minutes into the match, hincas's Oscar Baumer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maximino Ubarna narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nicolas Ostots struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Maximino Ubarna didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for hincas. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nicolas Ostots made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Juan Afonso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 55 in the game by Nicolas Ostots from a close distance when the talented Maximino Ubarna managed to make a qualified save. santos f.c's players were relieved. The supporters of hincas booed when santos f.c was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgard Ariando didn't get a good kick on the ball. Domingos Balasi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ljubo Bonačić in the 61st minute of the match. Maximino Ubarna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Baumer in the 66th minute of play. Domingos Balasi came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by santos f.c's Ljubo Bonačić. But to his dismay, Ljubo Bonačić quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The audience was convinced that Nicolas Ostots's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maximino Ubarna was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, santos f.c's Marcelo Leobardo got a free kick in the 83rd minute. If Nicolas Ostots had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maximino Ubarna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Baumer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. santos f.c were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
