Joaquin Estefan kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Casimiro Quexal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Eriz in the 6th minute of the match. CSD El Colon's Casimiro Quexal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Placido Gar in the 7th minute of play. After 9 played minutes Recreo got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Salomone. Casimiro Quexal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Placido Gar, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 19 minutes into the match, CSD El Colon's goal looked a bit too open when Americo Osoitz came free, but Casimiro Quexal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Herminio Senin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 24 minutes of play, Recreo's Americo Osoitz made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Casimiro Quexal was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Americo Osoitz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Casimiro Quexal was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Ariel Quinto hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Dalmacio Barea charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dalmacio Barea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Daniel Eriz, 30 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 31stth minute of the game Americo Osoitz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CSD El Colon's Casimiro Quexal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Placido Gar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casimiro Quexal having to interfere. Herminio Senin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Raul Erramun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

In the 55th minute, Reynaldo Vargas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Casimiro Quexal made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Placido Gar sent off a good shot on target. Raul Erramun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Inko in the 60th minute of the match. If Herminio Senin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 62 minutes, Ariel Quinto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CSD El Colon and the Recreo players grew even worse after the yellow card. A hard shot 64 in the game by Placido Gar from a close distance when the talented Casimiro Quexal managed to make a qualified save. CSD El Colon's players were relieved. After 65 played minutes Recreo got a freekick which was hit by Benedicto Illan. After a rather tough play, CSD El Colon's Dalmacio Barea got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 69th minute, Americo Osoitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 71 minutes, Placido Gar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Recreo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Placido Gar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in CSD El Colon's zone, Placido Gar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Casimiro Quexal came out of the goal and Placido Gar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Americo Osoitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Casimiro Quexal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Americo Osoitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Casimiro Quexal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Americo Osoitz in the 95th minute of play. Bernardo Inko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Erramun having to interfere. When the match was over Recreo could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than CSD El Colon throughout the match.
