To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 91st minute, Ovidio Beltza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Justo Unax managed to avoid a goal in the 93rdth minute, when Monumental's Leonides Velasco fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Victor Xabat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justo Unax having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Duendes sogueros fully deserved thier win.
