But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Verner Salkvist couldn't finish the play. In the 6th minute, Norberto Alvarez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Norberto Alvarez's late challenge caught a X-F8's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Norberto Alvarez helped the player get up and apologised. Norberto Alvarez kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. With a little luck, X-F8's Guillermo Aguirre got control of the ball when Christian Medardo tried to sneak it across the goal line. With an all-out effort, Mynabo de Glew's Guillermo Aguirre threw himself towards the right post 14 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Verner Salkvist, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcelino Ixidor in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Natalio Ixaka prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 31st minute, Guaberto Caton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christian Medardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christian Medardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Guillermo Aguirre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. X-F8's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Verner Salkvist scored to the left of an out of position Guillermo Aguirre, making the score, 1-0. In the 44th match minute, X-F8 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guaberto Caton to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Igor Mitushev to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 50th minute, Filiberto Quiroga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mynabo de Glew's supporters rose to their feet, but Filiberto Quiroga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guillermo Aguirre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Filiberto Quiroga kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 53rd minute Igor Mitushev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natalio Ixaka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 55 minutes into the match, X-F8's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Medardo came free, but Guillermo Aguirre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mynabo de Glew's Christian Medardo got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Guillermo Aguirre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Medardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Christian Medardo might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Guillermo Aguirre. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Christian Medardo ran back to his position shaking his head. Mynabo de Glew's Natalio Ixaka proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Mynabo de Glew from getting a goal against them. Linas Glodenis kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Adolfo Zonta hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Guillermo Aguirre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Verner Salkvist in the 82nd minute of play. After having played for 87 minutes, Verner Salkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mynabo de Glew's supporters crossed their fingers, but Verner Salkvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Romeo Segio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Igor Mitushev hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. A collision led to X-F8 getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Linas Glodenis hit a great ball. In the 97th minute of the match Norberto Alvarez sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Guillermo Aguirre skillfully saved the ball. Mynabo de Glew were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of X-F8 for a fine match.
